The ‘De Lectura Obligada’ blog team has interviewed author Xavier Marcé on the occasion of surpassing 200,000 books sold worldwide. In the interview, conducted by Alberto Berenguer, Marcé looks back on the fourteen years since ‘Mark of Odin: The Awakening’, talks about how his time at Funcom and the videogame world shaped his approach to storytelling, explains why he shifted from Norse mythology to political thrillers with ‘The Stone Lotus’ and ‘Yes, They Will Pass!’, and reflects on what it really means to be an independent writer and publisher when no one sees the toll from the outside.

The author also shares a few details about ‘Origin’, the fourth and final book in the Mark of Odin saga, and where he’d like to take XaviVerso over the next years.
